Is $1500 too much for a wallbed?
My neighbor is a nice old lady but she has this bitter sister that lives with her. anywayz they're starting to be poor now so she gave me this ad for her wall bed shes selling(she gave me a few to help pass out).is $1500 too much?? its just the metal spring no mattress or cabinets. every1 i handed one to just laugh so i need to know if its too much so i can tell her. and everyone please be nice it breaks my heart to see them desperate for money. she been having yard sales that no1 goes too and she just sits there all day reading. anywayz heres the pic.

I found a couple of sites that sells Murphy Beds (the correct name). It appears the frame w/o cabinet ranges from around $250 - $525 (plus shipping).
They're probably struggling with the high cost of everything on their low, fixed income.
Check to see if your city/town has a Council Of the Aging. If so, contact them about your neighbors as they may have (or know of) resources to help them.
