How Could I Decorate My Room?

My bedroom has pink walls with aqua trim (sounds weird, but it's a nice combination). My wardrobes, dressing table, bed, and book cases etc are white.
I want to decorate, but I can't do any painting. I don't mean decorate like, stick up posters of my favourite movies. I mean using accessories. The original idea with the colour scheme was that I'd have lots of flowers and frills, but I was 10, and I'm now 23 and over that.
I'd love as many suggestions as possible for things I could do.

you could get new bed sheets that are a solid color or a subtle pattern to make it look more adult (that is, if you have sheets that are childish, lol) also, hanging up curtains, either sheer or normal, can really change how the room looks. if you have hardwood floors, i would suggest to get a nice rug, which will help to add more texture and keep your feet warmer. for the walls, try to get some shelves (floating shelves would be nice, or ones that have decorative brackets) and you could put some books, photos, and accessories on them. as for accessories, you should probably keep it to a minimum because if you have too many it will look overly-cluttered. for the shelves, you could put small pot-ish type things and place a few flowers in them or just leave them empty as a decorative item. art and photographs could also be hung on the walls if you don't want to go through the hassle of putting up shelves.
