Wall Bed Set

I have a maroon colour theme wall in my bedroom and the bed set is in dark brown wooden tone?

how will i decorate my bedroom??? what colour accessories should i be using??
moreover my drawing and dining room is desert beige (which happens to be a light gray colour) and my curtains are off whitish an the sofa set is beige... how can i liven up the drawing room?? and how can I decorate the drawing room??
any ideas are highly welcomed..

add colorful accents like pillows and knick knacks
for the bedroom i think i'd go with light blue with the maroon and dark brown

the drawing room i'd go with bright eclectic stuff. throw pillows. bright vases with flowers. family photos in a variety of frames. blown up snap shots of your beautiful country side. knick knacks you might collect or start to collect. make it personable and fun!
