What is it like sleeping on a murphy bed?
These are the beds that fold up into the wall.
HaHaHa!! Wow, take me back in time, why dont cha'!! How cool, to remember those days!! I used to go and stay the night with my Oldest sister when she got her first apartment.. And it was a "Single" with a Murphy bed, in her living room! And it had a "Built-In" Secretary! Which, we both thought was soooo cool !!! So, when I spent the night with her, of course we'd sleep together, she used to change my diaper's as a baby!! So, we were pretty close!! I remember, worrying the first couple of times I slept over, about the bed folding up on us!! And my sister would laugh at me, in a "loving manner" and convince me that our weight was enough to keep it down.. The Murphy bed's were common in "Single's" when we were kids, growing up in Long Beach Ca... The big City had those and the old "Fire Escape" stairs, in the old buildings and the old gated elevator's....And years later they've gone and torn down half or most of all the old buildings such as these types and built Condo's or Extremely High Priced Apartments EVERYWHERE, now!!! Its sort of sad, when I go home to visit, to see how much everything has changed!!! And how high the cost of living is now, in comparison to the days when we all lived in our "Home Town-(City)"...... But its a part of life, I reckon!! Murphy Beds rock though!! They are so apart of the "Olden Days!!" Have fun!!! Smile!!!
