What color of bed frame...head board and foot board would go with white beaded board half down the wall?
Doing my daughters room...it will be a light purple and looking for a bed frame that will stand out a bit. I thought of getting white but that will just blend in with the white beaded board. Just need some help...thank you so much.
What about light oak? Or whitewashed or bleached oak? Any of them would give you a nice contrast against the beadboard without being too dark. Or, depending on her age, what about shabby chic? You could find a great used bed and use the crackle paint on it that shows a different color through the cracks. Home Depot has it. You can do this with unfinished furniture--or actually paint her bed a color that would contrast well with the wall colors.
