One of the unique selling points of the plasma television was it's ability to hang from the wall.The consumer had more space which was originally taken up by old fashioned TV stands and bulky TV's.

As the plasma TV became more main stream the manufacturers  became more innovative with their TV stand designs and styles. They created a vast range of specially designed affordable television stands to suit the plasma TV.

The TV stand arrived in all styles, beautiful smoked glass , metal , classic wood and corner stands, all very demanding ranges. The stand was a perfect fit for all interior designs. All of a sudden the Tv stand became fashionable again.

The logical reasons why most consumers diverted back to the old fashioned Television stand instead of  wall mounts were :
