Oak Bookcase Beds

Re-doing my room i think?

Okay I have a dark cherry/black bead with a bookcase headboard and regular foot board, I just got my bed a year ago so I can't get a new one. I have a white dresser, a black and white dresser like thing, a white laundry basket, a oak desk, and a oak side table. I think I'm going to paint my dresser black though.

I want to paint my room this color: http://www.seattlefabrics.com/M1363%20-%20Sky%20Blue.jpg and then get this bedding set: http://www.pbteen.com/gift/thm/thmblu/thmblulul/ as in the comforter, sheets, pillows, and pillow cases and maybe the rugs. My question is would this look right and what kind of curtains would I need to get? I'm thinking of getting those wooding letters in my initials and paint them pink or white.
