Murphy Wall Bed Mechanism

DIY murphy bed plans?

I need build plans for the lifting mechanism on a murphy bed (wall mounted bed/folding bed, whatever you wanna call it). I dont wanna buy a kit because I can get all the parts for cheap locally.

Here are two of several choices.

I doubt you will end up with a cheaper set of hardware than you can get from Rockler.com.
