Any ideas on moving a guest bed?
I'd like to put up guests in my house in the basement den. (Ulike an upstairs bedroom, this gives them a private bath in addition to greater privacy.)
What I'd like to do is find someway to move the bed from a storage room into the den. This way I won't have the bed taking up room for something rarely used. However, want a full-size bed and comfortable for up to a week, so that eliminates rollaways and air mattresses. (I have some elderly relatives.) I'd love to use a murphy bed, but the basement ceiling is too low. I'm not crazy about sideways murphy beds because the person on the inside can't easily get out.
All help is welcome. Thanks for your consideration.
1] elderly relatives are not going to love a trundle bed
2] are they able rto hike up and downstairs several times a day?
3] buy a good quality, regular bed - at least a full [ double ] size so guests will get a good night's sleep
