Anyone sleep on a Murphy Bed?
Are they comfortable or horrible?
I need to get one for my son and I don't want to screw up his posture or back on a really expensive but awful bed. Do they have to have a special mattress?
A Murphy bed in itself is just a "closet" a way to store the bed so you have more use of the room during the day.
When I lived in a studio apartment I use to have a Murphy bed - but I had ordered it with a special postra-pedic mattress - and it was fine. (I've also done the same for my convertible sofas over the years...I don't like guests complaining...)
So when you are buying one - make sure to check out your options for what kind of mattress you can get with it.
