Modern Wall Bed Mattress

How do you use a box spring with a modern platform bed?

I just purchased a new mattress/boxspring set, and I like them, but I purchased a new headboard too, and now I'm wishing I had gone with a more modern look. The headboard I bought is nice, but it bangs against the wall when we, well, move in the bed and we live in an apt.

Is it possible to put a boxspring and mattress set on those modern looking platform beds? Or will I need to get rid of the boxspring if I want to do that?
OH yeah, duh, I guess I could just move the bed out a bit. I don't know why I didn't consider doing that...

The only thing I still don't love is that the bed is a lot higher than I thought it would be...
I wasn't being sarcastic btw, I really will move the bed out (upon re-reading I realized I sounded a little rude- sorry!)

You could put a boxspring on the modern platform bed, but it wont look good at all. Just stick with the mattress. Or, move your bed away from the wall about 1.5 inches and it wont hit the wall anymore.
