Teen Bedroom help?!?

ok, so i am redoing my bedroom. I painted the walls and they are like a butter color. I got drapes that are a little bit darker than my walls (i have two big windows in my room) and really light purple sheers to go under them. I have carpet the same color as the sheers. i have a black iron canopy bed (w/ no canopy) and I am buying light green and light purple round paper lanterns from PBTeen.com. My color scheem is light purple and light green. I have pillows and bedding in both of those colors. Do you think this is a good idea? Any other ideas? do light purple and light green look okay together?

omigosh! that sounds exactly like me! my room is light purple and light green with a few white accents and like all of it i got from PBTeen! my room is all done since i redid it like a year ago and i love it. the colors go really well together and i get tons of compliments on it. this is kinda what my room looks like if you want any ideas:
walls: light seafoam green
curtains: purple
rug: purple flokati rug from pbteen
bed: white bed skirt from pb teen and black iron headboard form pier 1 imports
purple cheetah bedding from pbteen
purple yummi puff bedding from pbteen
white leather desk chair from ikea
purple desk from ikea
light green retro rocker from pbteen

so yea, those colors look great together and it'll look great when your done.
