Murphy Bed piston?
I recently received a murphy bed , it's a vertical lift full size bed. Unfortunately, It's missing the pistons. I don't want to spend $399 for an entire kit. Does anyone have one of these beds or know someone who does? I just need the size of the pistons. Then I can purchase a set for a reasonable price. I truly appreciate the help.
Might try an auto supplier.
Gas, gas/ oil struts are used to raise & lower hoods & tailgate panels.
Try to find the Mfr info in the piston.
Kuhnke for one, makes pistons / struts for all sorts of applications.
Search gas , gas/ oil struts for a distributor
You might get lucky & get an exact match or an equivalent without having to buy a complete kit.
